Yespo System Update for November 2024
We’ve rounded up the most essential Yespo updates for November. This month, most of the improvements are focused on widgets so you can prepare for the sales season and gain as many new subscribers as possible.
You can find previous updates here.
Widgets
Gamification
Gamification elements in widgets help increase engagement and the number of contact data received. Yespo already has three interactive mechanics that are activated after filling in the form data:
- Spin the wheel: The user spins the wheel to find out what prize or bonus awaits them.
- Scratch card: The prize is revealed after the user erases the protective layer.
- Gift box: The user selects one of the boxes to receive the prize.
- Gamified templates available in the editor will help you easily create widgets of this type. Learn how to set up game mechanics >
- In the post-subscription event, you can pass promoCode and promoCodeLabel (promo code description) parameters and use this data in reminder messages and segmentation by event parameters.
Multi-step Widgets
The multi-step subscription process has several benefits for the user and the business:
- Increased Conversion: Splitting many fields into several steps reduces the user's effort, motivating them to complete the subscription process.
Improved User Experience: Filling out information step-by-step feels less complicated and intimidating than a long form on a single page.
The Add button in the widget editor duplicates an existing page, and you can also copy any additional page (the Three dots icon). Read more >
Other Widget Improvements
1. In the Social component, on the Share tab, you can use a link to the site page where the widget is published.
- Two new types of events are available for tracking in Google Analytics:
- FormButtonClick — button click,
- FormClick — click on any place in the informer.
- The Slider component now supports swipes, and we have added three new options:
- Loop slides.
- Show or hide navigation buttons in the mobile version.
- Add links in language versions of the widget; you can specify the link for each slide separately.
- You can choose whether to open text links in a new or similar tab.
- A button for equalizing the width of columns has appeared.
- Email, Pinterest, and WhatsApp icons have been added to the Social component (the Share tab).
Product Blocks
Old Price Positioning
There are four different options available for positioning the old price relative to the new one:
- Left
- Right
- Bottom
- Top
Setting Up Product Row Styles
Now, you can customize the background and round the product rows to make the entire email design consistent or to emphasize these blocks.

Telegram
Executing Internal Commands
You can use external links and internal commands (callback data) in the Telegram message buttons.
Callback data is transmitted along with pressing a button from an inline keyboard. This allows users to interact with the bot without sending text commands.
How does this work:
- The user presses a button on the inline keyboard with encoded callback data.
- The bot receives a signal about the press and the corresponding callback data.
- Based on this information, the bot performs a specific action, for example:
- Sends a response.
- Changes the menu.
- Redirects the user to another section or function within the bot.
Please note: you must support such commands on your bot side.
Button Placement
Added the ability to place buttons in a Telegram message horizontally and vertically. Thanks to this, you can offer users more options more conveniently.
Workflows
Displaying Message-Related Workflows
Finding workflows that use a message is now even easier:
- The list of reports on trigger campaigns shows the name of the workflow, which you can click to view.
- In the general information of the report, the functions of copying the workflow ID and preview are available.
- In the message preview, you can also copy the workflow ID.
These options help you analyze quickly and work with them as efficiently as possible.
Preventing Repetition in the One from Many Block
To make your communication with subscribers more diverse, we have removed the ability to send the same message multiple times within a single workflow launch if there are unsent alternative versions. This is helpful, for example, when a workflow uses multiple One from many blocks.

App Inbox for Mobile

You can now get OPENED/UNOPENED statuses using the status parameter to request a list of App Inbox messages. This feature simplifies processing large amounts of data and working with message status.
